Surprisingly medical science is not able to find the permanent solution of this problem because still exact cause is not known.So there are various ways to get relief from the pain.These methods will not cure the migraine permanently but they will give relief for time being.
* Proper sleep is very essential for getting the relief.There should not be any disturbances otherwise pain may become worse.
* Fasting on juices is very helpful to get rid of toxic elements accumulated in the body because these toxic elements also are cause for migraine.Orange, carrot or cucumber juice and water fasting can be done for 2 or 3 days.
* Do exercise regularly.Yoga and morning walk can give a great relief in pain.
* Do meditation daily.
* Eat light food frequently.Avoid oil and non-vegetarian food.Avoid alcohol also.
* Take balanced diet which is full of vitamins, fiber and minerals.Eat fruit and vegetables as much as you can.Eat one apple every day.Use milk, buttermilk and yogurt in your food.Avoid white flour and sugar made items.
* Drink pure water in good quantity frequently.You can use water purifier for getting pure water.
* Massage daily your head with oil.Lavender oil is the best for this.But it should be pure.Lavender fragrant or perfumed oils are good for none.
* Aromatherapy is found very useful in the remedy of migraine.Peppermint, sandalwood and lavender aroma can be used.Whichever you like you can use that.You can try any one of them or combination of all or one by one.
* In some cases Acupuncture and Acupressure also have been found very useful.Consult to the expert for their opinion.
Avoid Followings
* Avoid bananas.It has been found in some cases that avoiding banana gives immense relief in the migraine pain.You have to check yourself that avoiding banana gives you relief or not.
* Avoid chocolates, many studies has shown that consuming chocolates cause migraine headache.
* Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs in order to remove the migraine headache.It can create more complications and have side-effects also.
Herbal Remedies
* Take one spoon ginger powder and mix into water.And take it four times in a day for five days.Use ginger regularly in your food.It is very good to decrease the severity of migraine.
* Feverfew has been found very good herb for the migraine pain.It is being used in western countries.It is anti-inflammatory and preventive medicine.
